Nassau to paradise island

Is it safe to just walk out on your own in Nassau and take a water taxi to Paradise island and Atlantis on your own for a day?
Does anyone know the cost?

Yes it's safe...A cab will cost ball park $10.00...We visited Atlantis and had a great time!

The water taxi is even cheaper, around $3 to $4 for a one way trip, very easy..

I think they are about the same cost. They tend to overload the water "taxis" IMO.

We just returned in November of last year. To take a taxi from the pier to Paradise Island, to the Atlantis Hotel was $4.00 each person.

We just got back from Nassau. We took the water taxi for $3 per person one way! I prefer to take the water taxi because I think it is more fun! We had a guide who told us all about the houses and celebrities who live on Paradise Island. He works for tips!

Yes it’s safe to just walk out on your own in Nassau and water taxi charge $3 per person one way.
