Freedom Cnancelled Puerto rico

I got notice that carnival is dropping Puerto rico from my April 23/2011 8 day cruise. They offered no explanation and are replacing it with another day at sea. Anyone have any knowledge of the details on why they are doing this.

Belize was dropped by CCL over a tendering issue.

Ok, I did just read something about the port of Belieze being dropped....I can understand Carnival's issue with this port, but at the same time, they should replace it with another port instead of a day at sea, wouldn't you think?

A while back there was another poster saying the same thing, but I forget which ship..Too bad, I so enjoy San Juan.

Old San Juan is my favorite Caribbean port of call. History runs so deep there.
