Hi everyone just asking a question regarding the Carnival Victory. How is the condition of the ship i notice the price for the date of 4/9/11 is slowly going down. Just makes me wonder if the ship needs to be refurbished. Has anyone sailed her lately any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jim

We just loved cruising abord the Carnival Victory and would love to cruise aboard her again. In fact it was our first and third cruise. Every ship undergoes a regular overhaul and or refit at regular intervals, (an excert from Carnival Victory - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia).
In late 2007, Carnival Victory underwent a refit which included the installation of Carnival's Seaside Theater for the midship pool. Some of her features include a nine-story atrium, four pools, numerous dining options, various entertainment options, a casino, and a spa). We were also part of the Carnival Victory's Inaugural first year voyage passangers. The ship, crew and food were excellent !
We love anything assocated with crusing and traveling. We are retired U.S. Navy...and loving it, "Been there...done that"! (almost).

Prices are low due to high airfares to get to San Juan. Try American airlines or Sprit Air and try to fly in the night before embakking. For more information on the ships condition go to cruise critic.com and put in Victory and look for members reviews. The reviews I have seen lately are great. Ed
