Newly - I'd make it go faster for you if I could.
Enjoy your cruise.

Yes, the time drags when you want it to speed. I hope you have a wonderful time in July.

I hear you.
We were sitting by the pool at our time share in Nov and thinking about another cruise, our 20 year ann. is coming up in Oct. 2011, so on Dec. 5th we booked a 2 week B2B Cruise on the Dream. Dec. 20 my wife says that is such a long time off so we cancelled one of the weeks in Oct and replaced that with one week on the Spirit in July for Alaska. After thinking that was still 7+ months off, so I got on the internet and saw that we could get a good deal from where we live in San Diego and cruise down to Cabo on a 5 day cruise. Well, we did that in Feb. Now here it is April and still have to wait till July so now I am looking at a 3 or 4 day cruise in May.
Where does it end?

You can make it through - just take a short cruise in between now and then!

I hear ya! We cruised for our honeymoon too April! This yr for our one year we are waiting till June with our work schedules. It can't come soon enough!! Have a blast and don't feel scared to request a table for two as they sat us with same Siders and I immediately asked for a table of two! The maitre'd was able to do this so dinner was pleasant!

What are same Siders? We are already sitting at a table mostly because we're going with a relative to celebrate his birthday & he wanted us all to sit together for meals.

My wife and I, though far from Newlyweds, are going on our first cruise this July, also.
We are on Conquest on July 10.
We can't wait for it, either.
You are definitely right. It's taking a looooonngg time to get here.

We leave July 2, on the Elation for our first ever cruise. I am so excited! We don't have kids so it will be just the two of us. We did Disney World last year and this looks to be a LOT more relaxing.

Our 20 year old son will be home from college, and is going along, but I doubt we will be seeing much of him.
He has told us he will likely be fiding his own entertainment, so not to be upset with him if he doesn't hang around us much.
I told him I thought we could manage without him for a few hours at a time.
