Default ripleys believe it or not question- orlando

We are booked on Carnival Dream - flying into Orlando airport arriving around 11:30 a.m. Jan 13th. OMG - just realized that was Friday the 13th..... My daughter wants to go to ripleys believe it or not, so I was wondering if they had one close in orlando by a hotel that we could stay at after we land and then use a shuttle or something the next morning to go to port canaveral to sail out. Can anyone help me? Thanks

On my recent cruise from Port Canaveral we went to Orlando and stayed at Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando
9000 International Drive
Orlando Florida

Ripleys Odditorium is at 8201 International Drive.

The inn was very nice and clean and we got the room for around $40.00 plus tax for the night. I booked through Hotels.com
In the morning we had breakfast and proceeded to Port Canaveral. It is an easy 45 minutes. The road is well marked and you cannot miss the port.

I hope this helps.

We are booked on the Dream in Oct and we are trying to make our minds up if we will catch the red eye and arrival the morning of the cruise or fly in the day before.

Did you rent a car? How far from the airport to the hotel?

It is about 15 miles from the airport to the hotel We did not rent a car as I live not far away and drove from home in my own car.

There are a plethora of hotels in the International Drive area of Orlando.
That being said, at that point you are a good hour or more from Canaveral. It varies depending on traffic. But it is a fairly straight shot down FL 528, the Beeline. (Will always be the Beeline to me) As for transportation ... Mears Transportation is the largest and probably most establish operator of buses and shuttles in this region. They do a lot of shared shuttle deals. Going to type the number from memory, then look it up. 407.423.5566 Hehe, yep, I give that number out often enough I do have it memorized right. Call and speak to them and see what kind of shuttle options they have for your needs. If they don't do it, I am sure they will be willing to say who does.

I'm no Wikipedia, but I do know this area pretty well, so feel free to ask away if you need anything.

Be sure to check the Rosen Inn not the Rosen Hotel There are hotels of just about any price up and down I Drive.
