christmas new years cruise

me and my partner are on the spirit for a holiday christmas new years combo cruise. how formal is to formal. I was thinking about tails for new years eve but not to sure. has anyone sailed aholiday cruie with carnival b4. d they have and parties for christmas eve or new years eve.

We were on the Conquest for New Years and it was a mixed bag of what passengers wore. I saw folks in Tuxedo's and there were also people in jeans. Personally, I believe in the formal attire for such a special night.

Trust me when I say you will love cruising over the holidays. What a wonderful experience. I wish we were joining you!

Yes, there will be parties, so if you all ready have the tux, go for it.

We were on the Valor for 2011 and dress was alittle everything, party on the lido alot of people were in shorts. It was sort of a mixed bag. There were partys at other places also. Big screen with the ball drop 2000 people all over the lido, live band and a great singer it was great. ship horn at midnight, + they stoped the ship for 15 min.
