January weather Eastern Carribbean

I thought I posted this - but can't find it. Senior moment?? . Anyway - whats the weather - specifically the water temp - in mid Jan? We are going to St. thomas, Marteen and Nassau on the Dream mid Jan. I'm scared the water will be to cool for me (and I love the water..but not cold!). Anyone in that area can give me insite? If to cool - I'll have to pick a non water excursions which is a bummer. Thanks for your help.

We swam in St Thomas, and Marteen in late Dec, and early Jan, and although not as warm as the summer months, it was very much doable.

I would not worry about it, unless a cold front lasts long enough to reach the islands, and then it might be a little cooler.

Being from Michigan it would need to be really cold for us not to swim in it!! We did that same itenery and the water was fine!!

Oh yes...but I'm from the deep south!!! Louisiana
