Yay we set sail for our first cruise ever on Sunday for our Honeymoon!
I can not believe it is only a little over 2 days away! We are leaving Sunday out of Long Beach and sailing on the Splendor for 7 nights to the Mexican Riviera!
We are getting married Saturday so this cruise worked out perfectly
I know that ports have changed, and some have had bad reviews of Carnival, but in all honesty we could care less if the boat sailed out to where you couldn't see land and sat there for the whole week! We are just excited to go on vacation and especially a cruise which neither of us have ever done before!
We got an interior spa stateroom a while back and I like knowing we have the option of going to the spa whenever we like.
Well I better go finish packing and thanks to everyone for all of your helpful info!
Have a great time on the cruise and, contrary to what some may say, the Mexican Riviera is a great itinerary. IMO Try parasailing or ziplining or just take a beach excursion.

Congratulations! Hope it works out as well as it did for the lovely Mrs. Jones, and me! We too, cruised for our honeymoon, and that was 25 years ago! We've been lovin', and cruisin' ever since!
