Excursion question

Leaving on Ecstacy in 6 days. My friend has booked the dolphin encounter in Cozumel. Since I have done that before I have chosen not to do it again but would love to go with her to watch. Is it possible to ride with the group from carnival just to watch and not pay for the excursion? Otherwise I would need to taxi alone & meet her there. Any help wouldbe appreciated.

I think you will have to get there by taxi and watch from the pier. You would need a ticket to get on the bus for the excursion. You can always ask, but I bet it will be a no go.

Not sure, but I would think there's a price category for watchers. My wife did the encounter with our youngest boy several years back and she recalls parents going and watching their kids in the water, but they never got in. Just watched and enjoyed their kids experience. Somebody on here should know about this firsthand and chime in.

YOu can watch - but from a distance. Not up close and personal. As far as the bus - you will need a ticket for the excursion to get on the bus. However........who knows. Rules change on a daily basis!
