Catalina Island, Dominican Republic

We are booked for a cruise in Nov 2011 on the Miracle. One of the ports is Catalina Island, Dominican Republic. I know it is a small Island off the coast near La Romana. We have been to La Romana and did the river tour and a stop at the Artist Colony.

Can anbody tell me what there is to do on Catalina itself? Is it only beaches or are there some activities to do? Any help isappreciated.
