I will be on the Dream July 4 and my understanding is they dont do much. Fireworks and cruise ships dont go well together although Disney somewhow manages. I think there are some American theme displays but what else could you expect? Maybe somebody can dress up like Uncle Sam or something...

I was on a cruise over new yrs, cant remember if it was the Victory or Grand Princess. Have to look at my stack of cruise cards. Anyhow, they shot off Fireworks at midnight, lasted about 10 minutes. That was back in 2000-01.
Come to think about it..It was on the Victory, I remember I got a good deal on a aft ext balcony for same price as a regular, since the ship was still "new" they didnt change the prices yet for the aft ext balconys.

UPCOMING CRUISE.. Carnival Glory, Nov 25 2012 out of Miami for 7 day western.
-----------------
Taken to many cruises to list here..Over 17 and counting. Finally reached Platinum with Carnival.
Only Disney cruises have the license that allows them to shoot off fireworks.
No other ships are allowed... .
Interesting. Fireworks on a ship would be fun, but it might be a bit dangerous.
