Hmmm, it wouldn't be on the Breeze, would it?

That sounds great but my health dictates what I can do . Eight months post accident I am still unable to go in an airplane or walk down most stairways .

HA! The lovely Mrs. Jones (Vita) is already booked on "Breeze" for a beautiful 12 day Med Cruise out of Barcelona, and the fantastic 15 day Trans Atlantic return voyage! She (and maybe I) will be aboard the beautiful Carnival "Breeze" for 27 days! It would be GREAT if one, or both of these voyages turns out to be a "CruiseMates Cruise"!

I'm just putting the final touches on this one into place, and the details will go up on my blog on the home page Wed.

But I can tell you that a year from now the cruisemates who do join this group will be celebrating the 4TH with an overnight stay in Venice, Italy!

The 12 nighter on the Breeze we've chosen is SPECIAL, because it features an OVERNIGHT stay in BOTH Rome and Venice.

You'll have a choice of booking either Early Saver OR the Group rate...

Either method people choose to book with will also receive the CruiseMates Group Amenities....

A FREE one night Pre-cruise Hotel stay in Barcelona
A FREE dinner at the SteakHouse on the Breeze
A FREE CruiseMates Cocktail Party
A FREE Kiss from Mike (who'll be hosting)
A FREE Kleenex to wipe away the kiss

Touring Europe with Mike the Explorer (Dorah's Uncle) will no doubt lead to TONS of fun.

Life is gonna be a BREEZE!

Kuki,

I just talked to Nancy and we have changed the "Kiss" amenity from a kiss from me to a kiss from Betty. We figured we would scare everyone one off with the original.

As you know I really do like this cruise since I already had my cabin picked out before I even knew it was CM cruise.

Take care,
Mike

Hi Kuki, can you check if European CMers will be able to book via your chosen TA to benefit from any savings, or would we have to book locally & let you know to include us to the CM group?

thanks,

Alan & Katrina

Kanda,

With Carnival I don't see why not. I just emailed Nancy to get a final answer.

I know Princess is will not allow some European countries to book with a U.S. agent.

I will let you, and all U.K. Cruisemates, know as soon as I find out.

Take care,
Mike

Alan and Katrina,

No problem. Nancy just emailed me and said that U.K. residents can book with her with no problem.

It is the June 29, 2012 cruise on Carnival Breeze.

Here is Nancy's contact information:

nancy@planningcruises.com

I imagine it would be easier to communicate by email for you. She is good about answering emails. Just refer to the Cruisemates Carnival Breeze Cruise.

Or the "The Cruisemates Cruise Hosted By the Big Bald Guy".

It would be great to meet you and other U.K. cruisers. My mother was a Leicester girl.

Take care,
Mike

Mike

I suspect that those UK cruisemates who live near SOTON will be sailing on a P&O vessel for the celebratory 7 ships on Jul 3.

Speaking purely for myself -the itinerary is ..... well seen and done it all (several times)..... a pity; and it is a large vessel

I know for a lot of people it will be exciting and enjoy.

Even if I had done this before .. which I havent, it would be fun to do a group cruise and enjoy having friends and a group onboard.

Unfortunately with my Dad turning 93 this year, I dont feel I can cruise from such a distant port ... but those considering it, consider how much fun it is to cruise with a group, not just the ports.

You make a valid point.

For myself , my bucket list would have to be complete. There is just not enough time and money to repeat visit ports you already have visited with friends 6 times. I know it is just me.

Back to deciding between Cuba, Hawaii or Tanzania or working out a timeline.

That's great news Mike, it would be good to meet up with a few more people from the site (we met up with Paul in Southampton last year) and put a few more faces to the names.

We'll contact Nancyfor prices atc once things are finalised & full details published.

Annie & Kanda..what is this exactly? I don't understand? What and why does this make a difference?

I suspect that those UK cruisemates who live near SOTON will be sailing on a P&O vessel for the celebratory 7 ships on Jul 3.

Trip

I'll let Alan or JTD explain - I know they are both booked - big anniversary thing re P&O.

If a UK cruiser cancels a cruise for July even this far out - we lose our deposits. Alan and JTD book their cruises so far ahead.

Hi Trip, next year P&O cruises are 175 years young and as part of the celebrations have all 7 ships in her fleet (Oriana, Aurora, Ventura, Azura, Oceana, Arcadia and Adonia) sailing out of Southampton on the same day - July 3.
So that's 366 days and counting

We'll make certain that we post some pics from the sailaway when we return.

Alan.

PS - apologies if this thread has gone off target
