Nyc, port for free or cheap from Columbus Circle area?

Hi there are 4 or 5 of us that are going to need to get to the Carnival Glory on Oct. 1st. 1 bag each ( I hope) Trying to save $$. We will be staying at the Columbus Circle Youth Hostel the night before. Any ideas appreciated.

First of all...."Find a good TA"....

# of bags (luggage) will have no bearing on the rates you secure !

Yes, We are just needing the transportation to the dock. Any ideas on cheap of free??

You could walk, it's a about a mile and a half or a cab would not be too much. Google suggests a bus but I didn't bother to look at the route.

Columbus Circle is 8th.Ave and 59 St. The cruiseport is 12th.Ave and 57 St .

You can walk to 57 St .and take the crosstown bus to 12th .Ave .
