Carnival does a good job with their past guest program. You get invited to a more intimate version of the the Captain's party. There are plenty of drinks and goodies to munch on, and it is complimentary.
Don't miss it.

Captain's Party is just a kinda promenade deck party to me now with $1 off drinks. Farewell party on the last day at 5 pm is the nicest one because not everyone has figured out its free drinks.
I like the past guest party and seeing the movie over and over again with all the ships and you get to cheer for the ones you have been on. Some ships have had to open it to two times, there are so many past guests on the ships. Anyone with 2 or more cruises is invited.
Well my wife and I really enjoy the "free" partys. The Captain's party is $1.00 off drinks from 5pm -8pm at the casino bar usually which we stop by and have one or two. The past - guest party is free drinks for 45 minutes. But my favorite party is the last evening which is free and it's called the Fun Farewell
party. Most people don't know that at this party you can order what ever kind of drink you what. Since you only have 45 minutes it is a good idea to bring some single dollar bills with you. The drinks will be brought to you fast and you will get your fill. Depending on which ship you are on. It is a good idea to find out when your Past guest party is. We were on Glory last year Dec 3rd 2010 and after 9 Carnival Cruises due to a error in the Pursers office we were not sent a Past Guest invitation and missed the party. It was one of those oops sorry about that which is about all we got. Have a great cruise and remember you won't have to drive home after the party. Ed
I love the Past Guest Reception. They do an amazing job with it. Complimentary drinks served along with Hors d'oeuvres. The Cruise Director usually hosts this event. They welcome you back and thank you for your loyalty. They have live music on stage, and a Corporate presentation of the cruise line history and where it is going with new ships. You are encouraged to cheer for each ship you have been on as it is presented. Then they will have a drawing for a gift from the invitations. Usually champagne. Following they get people up on stage for a group dance.
Tip; When they bring the trays of drinks around if they don't have something you like, just ask. They will get it for you within reason. I ask for a Tom Collins and they usually bring it.
