We were recently discussing with some friends about the beverages available in the buffet area on the lido deck. Our friends said they heard that while you can still get coffee, iced tea, lemonade, milk and orange juice, fruit punch is no longer available. We say they heard wrong. I know, it's a weird thing to wonder about, but could someone "in the know" settle this for us? Thanks.
If you're talking about the "red punch", yep,,,,it's GONE! We were told first, that it would be back and it was just a "change in vendors" thingy. Then, after an extended time in the "missing in action" line,,,,we were told that they took it away because so many kids spilled it on the carpet, and it was nearly impossible to clean the red stuff out of the carpet. Sadly, I tend to think that we've seen the last of the "red punch". It was my favorite!
I have heard various stories, including the problem was it stained the carpet and they kept having to cut out carpet where kids and whomever split it. The red coloring stained too bad in the punch.
Who knows what the truth is why its gone, but gone for sure.

I think it's been well over a year Fire.
They have that Guava for my last couple cruises but it's actually pretty good.

If it is Carnival and it floats....we have sailed it!
Hubby ... 58 (every ship except the Carnivale)
Me ... 50 (every ship starting with the Tropicale)
22 year old son ... 25 (finally MILESTONE)
19 year old son ... 49 (every ship starting with the Tropicale)
Thanks to all for the info. Now, if we Pepsi drinkers could get Carnival to have Pepsi products available along with Coke, that would be great. I'd even consider buying a soda card. But, alas, I suspect Coca-Cola must have a lifetime exclusive contract with all of the cruise lines.
