Carnival Splendor Premium Balcony Cabin question

Has anyone ever had a Premium Balcony cabin on the Splendor? I just booked for Sept 30 20012. And the cabin is 6475 on Upper Deck. My parents are right next door in a standard Balcony. Any info out there or pics I would love to hear from you.

That shows as a 8A L shaped cabin. Nice balcony. Twice as long.

I know. And we got a great price. Or I should say I got a great price. We were going to go Princess. But decided to come back to carnival. I'm by myself and my parents and niece are next door.

I've got this cabin on the December 4th sailing; will come back with lots of pictures! We had a suite the last time we were on the Splendor...I'll be anxious to see how this balcony compares.

I stayed a couple of decks up. I got a reply in this thread from joemo. He references his albums with balcony pictures. Don't remember if I posted any photos of my own.

Hi CruiserJen,
Thank you bunches. I'll look forward to info and pics about the cabin. :-) Have an awesome cruise. I have wanted to go on this ship since it launched. So excited. Wish I didn't need to wait a year. :-)

Hi Green rd,

Thank you for the link. But they must have removed. It came up not found. How did you like the longer balcony. I know it is a different configuration. How did you like that. Thanks for the info.

:-)

We liked the longer balcony. It actually had a lounge chair in addition to the straight chairs. There was no additional depth so still had to do some shuffling. You would be able to host your parents and have a seat for everybody.

We are looking forward to it. And we have friends who are doing a Retirement Cruise on the same cruise. So if they stop by we should have plenty of space. Cool :-)
