We are taking a cruise out of Galveston in October. Where would be the best place to park and what are the procedures for parking? Do we drop our luggage off at the dock and then park or do we park and bring our luggage on the shuttle bus? Thanks for any help.
I always use EZ Cruise parking. It's a lot within walking, but they have shuttles. You can either drop your bags first and walk OR park and they will shuttle you and your bags over.

I have only cruised out of Galveston one time, back in July, and we used Galveston Park-N-Cruise.
They are indoor parking, right across from the terminal.
Booked it online, $60.00 for the week. Very convenient, Very easy, no problems on embarkation or debarkation day. I dropped wife at terminal with bags and was back standing beside her in less than 15 minutes. No lines, no waiting, nothing.
Got back, found the bags in the terminal, pulled them to the gate and was back in less than 10 minutes loading the bags into the car. Again, no lines, no waiting, nothing.
And, it's indoors so the car wasn't 800 degrees when we got back.
Harbor House is a real treat. I think they charged $20 for the week. Of course, you have to stay there a night. It's pricey but I thought is was worth every dollar.
