Not yet, but I intend to order it next cruise if for no other reason than to take a picture of it. Same for at least some of the other new dishes. Nobody says you actually have to eat it.
I'm sure you could turn it into A1 soup or something that would make it palatable.
BTW--I make my own 'hamburgers' from a blend of ground beef, spices, and onions. You'd miss out not having one of mine. Everyone come over on the next holiday and if we don't have a fire ban I'll fix a bunch!
Or ground beef with mixed in chopped up jalapeno and cheddar cheese! Yum

Thanks for the heads-up.
We cruise again in May.
I am concerned now, because I have talked some friends into going and it seems that the Menus have all changed. I have always loved the way the food is presented- Very elegant.
How can you offer- MEATLOAF in an elegant meal??
I may have had meatloaf once in the past few decades. I'm actually starting to look forward to it. Carnival may be onto something - putting comfort food on the menu. Food that baby boomers may not have had in forever.
To me Meatloaf by it's very nature was a concoction to stretch a family's food budget. I use various spices and extra sage in mine. It isn't something I would expect to find on a cruise ship in the MDR. I'll reserve my opinion of Carnival's spin on it until I have tried it. A friend of mine just off the Valor and said it was good.
Different Meatloaf's for different Folk's I guess.
I've worked these boards for over ten years and there have been MANY posts requesting more "comfort foods". There are also a number of people who wanted restaurants like "Denny's" or "Cracker Barrel" to be put on ships.
So the "Comfort Food" angle may be worth it for Carnival and many people will be happy but I believe it detracts from the overall dining experience.
Take care,
Mike

We have to make two separate meat loaves in our house. I like mine with onions, bell peppers, and hot peppers mixed in with the meat. The wife doesn't like the peppers and likes oatmeal blended with her meat loaf.
We also use a blend of ground chuck, ground veal, and ground pork for the meat.

OK, stupid newbie question:
Can I bring my own Cholula sauce on board? Can I pick up more at the grocery store on Cozumel? Cholula sauce sounds like it would make Carnival meatloaf better. Will there be Cholula or Tabasco on board at the tables already?
Jalapeno meatloaf; that sounds good.
Meatloaf probably isn't too big in India or in Doral.
They should have Tabasco sauce in the MDR, not sure about Cholula, but you can always ask. I don't think you'd have a problem bringing your own either.
Tabasco has been available in the buffet and MDR of every ship we've been on. You may have to ask for it if it isn't out in the buffet.
My wife puts Tabasco on her omelettes and eggs. Personally I can't stand the flavor. I'll use Sriracha or something else if I want to spice something up.
Take care,
Mike

As mentioned you will be able to find Tabasco. Cholula sauce is common in Texas, perhaps more so than in Cozumel, but they probably have it at the Mega. I wouldn't waste my valuable time going there to get it.
If I took any spice on board with me it would probably be Tajin.

Yes, I've brought all kinds of condiments on the ship. They do have Tabasco, HP (like A1), Grey Poupon. No Cholula that I've seen.
Lots of hot sauces available in Red Frog, but they only serve those with food orders - not just sitting out ad available ofr the taking.
Why not? I always carry cinnamon when I cruise. I like it on my waffles, and in cereal. I once asked for it and it took 20 minutes for them to find any. I just find it easier to keep a small shaker in my purse.

I'm bringing my own liquid vanilla coffee creamer this time.
