Elegant Night

I’m having a hard time trying to figure out what night will be elegant night aboard Carnival Freedom 6 night cruise. Are there one or two? The itinerary is the following…
1) Embarkment day
2) Key West
3) Day at sea ** 1st elegant night?
4) Grand Cayman
5) Jamaica
6) Day at sea
Back home
I read they don’t hold the second one if your sea day is the day before you get home? Is this true?

Hi! I just returned from the 6 day on the Freedom this past Saturday and the Cruise Elegant nights were Tuesday - Day at Sea and Thursday - Ochos Rios. It was a great cruise. Enjoy!

How was the cruise?

The cruise was wonderful with smooth sailing. We had previously been on the Fantasy class and Destiny class. This was our first time on Conquest class. It is a lot bigger than the Fantasy class. I read alot of negative things about this ship, but I didn't find anything wrong with it. Pictures don't do it any justice. In Key West we took the City Trolly ride which was fun and informative. In Grand Cayman we went to Stingray City Sandbar, we really enjoyed that. In Ochos we did the Cool Runnings to climb the falls, we enjoyed that very much and would definately do it again. We really had a great time and can't wait to book another cruise
for next year!

We have only sailed on the fantasy class so looking forward to something new. We're going to rent scooters in Key West, snorkel in Grand Cayman & do the Dunn's river falls, Erie blue hole and Mahogany beach in Jamaica. I’m glad you had such a good time on Freedom. So excited I can’t wait!

On our Freedom 6 night cruise, in Dec 2008, there were 2 elegant nights, same as indicated above.

We love the Freedom - it is one of our favorite ships.

Zdecocruiser, I love your webpage you do such a great job with pictures & sharing your travel info. I have looked at it many times. Thank you so much for SHARING! My new favorite ship is the Freedom. Aerogirl, I know you will have a great time. Climbing the falls is one of the great experiences & memories my daughter & I will always remember & hopefully will do again someday.
