Does anyone know if The Conquest is arriving a little later than usual tomorrow morning? We are wondering if this is true and why?

There was a medical emergency and the ship returned to Cozumel. No word yet if the arrival will be delayed. Per JH.

I guestimate they will be an hour or so late depending on traffic, fog, whatever.

Have you heard any updates Zydeccruiser? It is 9:30 a.m. and still no sign of The Conquest.

Well, this is certainly odd! I just went back to the "cruise cam", and thar she is!! Thanks anyway, Zydecocruiser!

I was on the Conquest...on Friday, we had just left Cozumel approximately 1 1/2 hours away...the ship stopped and started to turn..the captain announced that we had a medical emergency and for people to keep their thoughts and prayers for this person..we did get back and a boat tender possibly the coast guard..not really sure..really dark.. got this person off and back to Cozumel. Much later on, the Captain announced that we would be a little later coming into Galveston due to this emergency..I found out that there was a couple; the guy had a mini stroke prior to coming onto the ship in Galveston...and he was having another stroke after leaving Cozumel..found out the significant other could not go with him..and he was eventually flown into Galveston on Sunday...
We didnt even leave Galveston until 1120pm on Sunday due to propulsory engine problems?,,,just glad they got it worked on...
Also, I would like to say that in Jamaica please be careful due to the fact that there was an attempt to hold an 18yr boy from his dad...for $110.00..supposedly that the locals had got the boy and his wallet from the water and threatened his dad that he find himself dead on the parking lot if money wasnt given..I dont know how much of this is true but our balcony neighbors were supposedly there when it happened...just beware...
Also the captain claimed that on Sunday 9/11, all the fleet were sharing the same phone lines and the staff/crew/passengers did have a moment of silence/prayer 6:12pm...pretty effective I thought..
