Barbados Excursion Help Please!

We are trying to decide between this Barbados Resort Beach Break or the Catamaran Snorkeling Tour (Turtles etc)

I'm leaning to the beach break as it looks lovely and I don't want to be go go go in every port but I am just wondering if the snorkeling with the turtles in one of those once in a life time experiences that you don't want your kids to miss out on.

Advise and opinions please.... Maybe we should be looking at at beach day in St Thomas instead? What do you think?

Personally, I would do the beach day in St. Thomas and something else in Barbados. The last time we were in Barbados, we did the island jeep tour. One of the best, in my book. Although the ride hurt my arthritic back and I had to get the driver to stop, so that I could, um.....water the sugar cane, I would do it again in a heartbeat.

No doubt for me, Barbados is lovely & there are some nice beaches but there are better on other islands. The turtle trip (which I don't totally approve of...but..) is very popular & people say it makes their holiday. You may even be able to do both by getting a cab to a South Coast beach(nearer the ship) like Rockley/Accra after you Turtle trip if it's AM.
