World's largest gangway

The worlds largest mobile gangway has arrived in Galveston. Looks like they are almost ready for the Carnival Magic.

I would assume because it's larger than any other one ever built.

I wonder why they will need a longer gangway?

I just heard about the Maroon 5 playing a concert. Im hoping when I hear them Ill know some of their songs.

My invite says details for the overnight preview to be sent the week of Nov 7th, and I will be on Triumph. I hope I dont have to print something out to get on, or if I do not respond in 24 hours they cancel me or something.

Im staying overnight after Triumph and hoping to board Magic just for the preview. Im just worried because Ill be on a cruise when they said they will send out the rest of the details for the preview.

Triumph is booked thru my regular PVP not the TA who got me on the preview of Magic. .. I know .. I worry too much. If they dont let me board with just the original invite, I guess its not the end of the world.

Ray, is it clear that anyone on either the TA or the 14th sailing are guaranteed admission to the M5 show?

It seemed to us that there is a ticket process via blog and radio.

There are 3,000 on the TA and 3,000 on the 14th sailing so thats a potential 6,000 attendees to a show Carnival is paying to have. What venue is M5 playing and is it big enough to hold 6,000 plus?

And, all this is apart from the JH bloggers brunch thingy he mentioned.

I don't think they really know what is going on. Not sure the pax will get a ticket just because they are booked and if they don't that would be a mistake IMHO.

Phil and Liz I didnt even apply for a ticket as if Im on the ship and they are playing on the pier, wouldnt I hear them?

I think it said boarding at 2 pm and Im wondering why so late, or if this is like other boarding where you can really board earlier.
