Miami hotel

W ould you suggest a hotel in miami near the airport to stay the night before a cruise, and would it be best to go back to the airport to get the bus because we aregoing to purchase transfers.

I'm sure that someone else can recommend specific hotels, but I lived there for a long time and there were more hotels near the port than near the airport. Many of them have free shuttles airport to hotel and the port is a very short cab ride from the hotel.

We have stay a few times at the Holiday inn Port of Miami. close to the port and near almost everything. Bayside Market is across the street.

La Quinta Inn/ Miami Airport was a nice stay for us and they had a complimentrary shuttle.

If you are doing the transfer you almost for sure need to be near the airport.
