Will the Magic menus change when the ship arrives in Galveston? I would like a link to the menus if anyone has them.

John Heald's Blog and his FB page will have the menus mixed in with alot of other things and yes they will change beginning Nov 14th.
Here is what he wrote on ghis FB page ealier today:

Each day I am going to post in order the dinner menu for the trans Atlantic crossing. Remember the Carnival Magic gets the new menu when she arrives in Galveston. Here is what our guests will be enjoying on embarkation day:

Tropical Fruit in Tequila Lime
Cured Salmon and Candied Tomato
Fried Chicken Tender
English Beef and Barley
Cream of Sundried Tomato Soup
Chilled Gazpacho
Heart of Iceburg Lettuce

MAIN COURSE
Lasagna Bolognese
Pan Seared Filet of Tilapia
Sweet and Sour Shrimps
Chicken a la Grecque
barbecued st. louis style pork spare ribs
Indian Vegetarian Dinner

EVERYDAY SELECTION
fresh fruit cocktail
black tiger shrimp cocktail
caesar salad
broiled fillet of mahi mahi
grilled flat iron steak from USDA choice beef
grilled chicken breast

southern fried chicken

The new or old menus?

Magic will be switching to these after the Transatlantic:
Carnival Cruise - Newest Seven Day Menus

complete with some food pictures. Even more pictures after my cruise next month!

Does anyone know which menu they won't use for the Carnival Magic New Year's 6-day cruise?

John Heald had mentioned that formal night would be on Saturday, New Year's Eve instead of Friday night, even though disembarcation is on Sunday morning.

Many people like to dress up on NYE anyway, so it makes sense to make it an elegant night.As for which menu would be missing, they probably haven't thought that far out. I would have thought there would be 2 elegant nights on a 6 night cruise, but maybe not.
