Well, I must admit..Taino beach (Freeport) was stunning and not crowded. I did not intentionally walk several miles down that beach..We got lost looking for the lunch hut that serves very fresh conch salad (the owner swims out every morning and gets them). We walked a few miles in semi-deep sand against harsh winds. Nope, I had NOT planned that work out. You CAN walk/run on the road, but we did not see the road or realize we could have been walking on it until we reached the restaurant..Which was closed by the time we got there.. We saw the remains of the days conch shells behind the restaurant...
