ok is the freedom casino worth the time playing any of the games? or just go to the shows and forget gambling for the cruise jan 1 2012 7 day

I have never been on the freedom. But the other ships I have been on seem to be fun. Black Jack tournament texas holdem tourney etc

Steer clear of Casino Vault which is the only CASH game in the Casino and is open 24/7. Pays out after 3 - 4 Thousand dollars has been put in.
Slots are worthless they pay a little and take alot. Go see the shows and steer clear of all the Bingo too. Very Low pay outs. Ed

Given that ANY CASINO on ANY cruise ship is the only one you will possibly be in contact with (when not in a port of call that possibly has casinos).... it doesnt matter what ship it is. Passengers are a captive audience.... there is no incentive for the cruiseline to have huge payout(s) since there is no competition !

Is it fun ??? Sure..... but just dont be "donating" money you cant afford to lose ! :eek:

The last few cruises, my wife had great luck at, "Let it Ride" and I did well on craps. But always remember the odds are in favor of the casino.

We had a great time in the Freedom casino. All three of us won money, not a lot but some.

In any casino (more so on cruise ships because the odds they offer are worse than land based casinos) one has to gamble what you can afford. In fact you should presume you're going to loose that amount, and be happy for that to be the cost of your entertainment.
