Just booked a September cruise on Carnival Conquest today. Couldn't hold out any longer.
This time we're trying the the extended balcony on the very back of the ship. We prefer balconies and always had the ones on the side of the ship, never the back. I don't know if I'll like looking out the back verses the side view but we'll see. Either way, can't go wrong with balconies.
For those of you who had these rooms before, what did you think about them?
I love aft balconies and book them whenever I get the chance. You have less wind and the view is great. You can see starboard, port and aft. I also love sitting out there at night and just watching the wake. It's sort of hypnotizing.
Enjoy!
Take care,
Mike

I've always liked the extended balconies on the Spirit class ships, you can stretch you legs without feeling cramped in there. I believe watching the wake of the ship will be more relaxing that I might not want to leave the room.
