Will we be Dreaming or not?

We have booked cabin 6477 one of the L-shaped cabins with a large balcony on the Carnival Dream. I am now questioning the noise factor from the clubs on deck 5 and also the privacy because of the lanai traffic below on deck 5. If there is anyone out there who has cruised in a L-shaped cabin on this deck, would you mind to comment about our concerns. We can still change to a regular balcony cabin or a cove but the cabins are going fast and I need to make a decision. Thanks for your help. ;-)

You are actually much farther aft than the Lanai - you are at the stern of the ship.

You may hear some noise if you are out on your balcony, but not from the Lanai or above. The nearest open deck to you is at the rear of the ship one deck down - but it is not by any public rooms.

You are actually over a crew staircase. As far as I can tell, you have a fair amount of steel between you and any public rooms, I would not be worried. I doubt any people will congregate on the deck below you, and if they do they will probably be sleeping. :)

Those look like fun rooms, and I don't see any advantage to a balcony cabin in terms of noise - you will still have the same amount of exposure, unless you go a deck or two higher.

Thank you for your help, Paul. Appreciate your research.
