Default B2B

Hey Kids, Help me out if you can.
If any one has recently done a B2B on Carnival, Tell me about Debark/Embark.
Sailing Triumph in november, 5 day / 4 day (Same cabin). I'm certain we'll have to get off the ship, but can I leave my stuff in the cabin, or will I have to pack & unpack ?? Any other glitches I should know about ??

Because you have the same cabin, you can leave all your belongings in the cabin. No problem.

If you had to change cabins, the cabin stewards would help you move your things to the new cabin.

Hi Joe, as Kuki said you just leave all your stuff in your cabin. You'll be given a letter partway through your first cruise telling you where and what time to meet on "turnaround" day. They usually wait until everyone else is off the ship then they escort you and the other B2B'ers off the ship and through Customs. You'll just need your passport and your cruise card.

After you go through Customs, you'll reboard and get your new cruise card.

We did have a SNAFU one time in Galveston where the Customs "officials" (to me they looked like high school kids :o!) didn't know what a B2B cruise was. They kept asking where our luggage was (in the cabin on the ship) and where we were the night before (out in the ocean, on the ship)! Finally, their boss came along and cleared us to get back on board. It took more than two hours, but that's the only time we had a problem.

Have a wonderful cruise,

Check in at the pursers desk and they will give you a time to be there and give you a new S &S card and take you off the ship and back on. The first B to B we did we didn't even do that we just got our new S & S cards and went back up to the cabin. Tell your cabin stewert you will be on a B to B and no problems.
