Back from sailing the Liberty!!!

I am so sad! I had to get off the Liberty yesterday!! Loved the ship, loved the itinerary & looooooved Guy's Burgers!! There have recently been complaints about the ship, service & food. I will have to disagree with those complaints.
The workers are great for what they have to do. I did notice the waiters in the MDR were shorthanded. Our waiter Galloo did a great job, on our other cruises the waiters seemed to have more time to get to know us & we them. Not a problem. Food was not as good but I came home 5lbs heavier so must not have been that bad. I really liked the variety of different restaurants..ie..Guy's, Mongolian, Deli, Burrito, Fish & chips & the regular buffet. All included in price.

Cruise Director Karl with a K was "excellent"

Cabin steward Babb was "excellent".

Half Moon Cay could have stayed 2-3 days there.

St Thomas was beautiful, took tram to Paradise Point. One time deal on that, will take island tour next time. If you like jewelry, you will love St Thomas.

Puerto Rico.. we walked to the Fort & spent the whole day there & at the Castle, got to see San Juan by walking between the 2.

Grand Turk..beachin good day!!

One BIG complaint.. sat for over 2 hrs for disembarkment!! Next time I'll wait on Lido deck where I can enjoy the sunshine & fresh air there.

Bottom line....I'm planning my next cruise.

I always laugh at the people waiting to disembark.

My last trip I was supposed to meet at the latest 9:40am. At 9:35 I walked off the ship and never stepped foot in my assigned lounge. One of the staff stopped me since I didn't have the a luggage tag color but since I was taking my own luggage I'm allowed to get off whenever. Slept in, no lines for breakfast, no line leaving, no stress.

True..that was an option. Just saying.. longest wait of my 3 other cruises!! Glad you get off the ship amused!!
