Default Want to book a group

I want to book a group cruise to Hawaii from LA for 7.

I need 3 cabins and would want at least one suite.

What is the best method to book said group?
Should I use a travel agent or the carnival booking agent?

Thanks

My advice would to absolutely use a travel agent, who will be your advocate through the entire process of booking a group, which can be daunting. Let them use their expertise for the possibility of fitting your group, into an existing one, or, to book the 8 cabins you will need to be considered a group.

Also they may be willing to give you perks, and draw more people to the group..good luck!

I second Trip's advice, go with a good travel agent that does handle group bookings, be on the safe side...

I third using a travel agent.

I would recommend one that has a ton of experience with groups that is a member of this very forum....but I do not know if it is allowed....so I won't
mention his name.

Default I 4th a TA

I do believe there are lots of Travel Agents here to choose from Big Mac. I use a Carnival PVP (Private Vacation Provider) who I have been very happy with. Although I have seen some folks who are not happy with theirs. Heck, I bet you can use this Site and they would be very happy to assist you and your 3 room booking. Have fun!

I meant to add that we use a PVP....but it is my understanding that they have to turn group bookings over to the "group department"....

which is why I recommended a Travel Agent that has a lot of experience with groups .... since they are a more difficult animal.

Thanks for the thoughtful replys.

I have checked out the recommended board agent.

I have also begun looking locally. I really like to deal locally when I can.
Maybe I need a bigger group. I need 3 but 10 would be very nice.
