I am not sure about anyone else, But I have dined in a restaurant with high, and I mean high level of service which included:

The busboy
The asst waiter
Head waiter
Table Captain...the service was umatched by anything I ever had prior or post dining at this restaurant. Nothing had to be asked for, anything I wanted was at the table in a blink of an eye. Everything was first class, the drink glasses, china, silverware...everything was first class but one thing.

Our meals were nothing to write home about. I mean it was'nt bad, it was just so-so...plain and bland, Needless to say I never returned...unlucky that the guests we were with at the time also felt the same way.

Yes Carnival changed their dining service system about a year ago. The service is slower and the waiters do not have the time to give the individual service they did it the past. That for many was the best part of the dining experience.
