Adults only Serenity Deck

A lot of message boards have people complaining about the Serenity decks on Carnival that parents still bring children to these areas and Carnival does not enforce the rules. I've seen kids in the Adults only hot tubs. Has anyone ever complained to Carnival about this if so was anything done to correct the problem?

On my last cruise on the Miracle on July 1 the adults only restriction in the serenity area was enforced. This was the 1st time I have seen all children kept out of this area. Big improvement, lots of peace and quite.

I think Carnival has been very successful in keeping the Serenity area kid free, I've seen the rule enforces several times.

The hottubs on Conquest class ships, by the aft pool used to be adult only but that hasn't been enforced with any consistency for several years.

That is why I don't use those hottubs.

I rarely see kids in the Serenity area and not for very long.

If you do, call security.

I'm really looking forward to the 3 deck Serenity on Carnival Sunshine - complete with waterfall and adult pool. If I see any kids I will have Security on speed dial.

I had the worst experience ever on my last Carnival Cruise in the so-called adults only area of the pool and hot tubs and when I told security about it they simply shrugged it off and didn't enforce the rules even when I pointed the signs out.

Needless to say; I'm staying away from Carnival for a long long time.

Yeah, the no smoking rule and no kids rule tends to aggravate people. I've seen people speak up and tell other people that, hey, you can't smoke here and you have to take your kids somewhere else.
Then I go back to my nap.

As with many things with Carnival.....consistancy from ship to ship is spotty at best.
