how zany is the 3 day trip to Encenada

I've seen reviews in various other places all over the map, from great to awful. I expect, from what I've seen, that is is really "high energy" with a lot of kids zooming around.

Does it crank up a lot in the summer and tone down in the winter?

I'm looking at this option for a SHORT cruise that does NOT require me to buy airfare.

Then I would just give it a try, if I lived in Long Beach.
