What would the temp be in April sailing from Charleston?

I am planning a cruise this spring and want to sail out of Charleston SC in April. Does anyone know what the temperature will be while on the water to and from the Caribbean?

You should warm up off the coast of South Florida, but bring light layers to wear while on deck...

Leaving Charleston it is typically in the 70's in April. It starts getting warmer off the coast of Florida. Of course it can vary depending on any weather fronts. I have lived in SC for 30 years and 70's to low 80's is the norm for April. Now last April a cold front came through when returning to Charleston from a cruise and it was cold for disembarkation. I am going April 16th. If you have any questions about the Carnival Fantasy do not hesitate to ask. I have cruised many times on her.
