Some folks have different definitions for " disasters " and "being inconvenienced."
I'm glad I wasn't on the ship, hope I never have to be in that situation but if it ever happens, I think I have enough sense to make the best of it and not be a complete idiot the way some folks were acting. It that's the biggest adventure these folks ever have, they basically will have lived a dull live when they get older.
And to those who cry " I'll never cruise again, especially on Carnival." I say --fine--just don't cruise and go on with your life. In the end and long run, it isn't going to affect Carnival to any major degree , nor the cruising industry in general.
The way some make it sound, Carnival should be shut down., cruises ships are nothing but floating disasters waiting to happen, etc. Anyone who feels that way should go with their feelings and move on.
Most of us will continue to cruise and enjoy our cruises, in spite of all the hype, especially that dredged up by the media who show the same scenes and same people over and over.
Cruise or not cruise-- each person's choice to make--make it and rightly or wrongly, live with your choice.
I would dare say that Carnival has some very interesting video they could release about some of the actions of some of the passengers should they grow the back bone to release it.
Happy sails to all who will continue to cruise, happy whatever to all who won't cruise again and to all ---peace !
