Carnival's Ship of the Future

Been a tough week, huh? I would have no reservations about cruising on Carnival, and this week, is not a Triumph week, thankfully, but, you need a sense of humor,and whoever dreams up these cartoons, has one.

If I had to be " stuck " somewhere for a couple of days, I can't think of anywhere I rather be than St. Maarten. If I had a choice of spending 2 sea days sailing back to Port Canaveral or spending 2 days on St. Maarten and then letting Carnival fly me back for free, I'd opt to stay without any hesitation.
I have no hesitation abut sailing Carnival, although we have sailed them a lot we have also sailed Celebrity, RCCL, HAL, and Princess. We are planning a cruise on the Dream this fall, which will make 3 times on that particular ship. I figure Carnival will be one of the most trustworthy lines afloat after all this and the scrutiny they will have given their ships by the time my cruise rolls around !

I agree. At first I was all up in arms but I believe by the time my cruise rolls around Carnival will be better than ever. I have always had a great cruise with them, the only complaint was with the MDR service on our 2011 cruise.
I hope they decided to step it up now since all this bad publicity and all eyes are on them.
I will say the next cruise I book will not be on Carnival as I need to have another line to compare them to.
Only sailed RC one time and it was BAD but it was long ago and I'm going to give them another try.

The first cruise we had on RCCL wasn't so good either. It was on the Grandeur of the Seas, which was new at that time. I wasn't overly impressed with several things--first thing was my luggage--I finally located it myself right beside the elevator door where two crew were leaned up against the wall talking and not offering at all to even move, until I told them to move, so I could look at the luggage to make sure it was mine, then had to tell them to take it to my cabin as I had been the one who had to track it down.
So, we steered clear of RCCL for a few years but did decide to give them another shot and I'm glad we did. I love their bigger ships and have been very satisfied with our cruises on them. Looking forward to the Allure in Jan. but am going on the Dream in Sept. ( hopefully-- )
I would suggest you give RCCL another try--I think you would be happy you did.

Allure is the ship on want to cruise on next. Be sure to fill me in once you get back, I know its a long way off but it will be interesting hearing your review of her.

the big red sale going on i spend more money on beer on a 5 night rccl ship them what it cost 2 go on a 7 night carnival ship and i don't drink that much.
