Default Taxi to airport from cruise ship in San Juan

We have a early return flight and the cruise transfer service does not start early enough for us to use. Has anyone taken a taxi to the airport and if so what was the price.

San Juan is definitely one port you do not want to do the cruise line's transfer. It's cheaper and easier to use taxis. Cost was $16 per cab each way (not per person) plus $1 per bag when we were there last year.

And there are plenty of taxis, so you don't have to hunt for any or wait long to get one.

Sounds about right, I believe I gave the taxi driver a $20 and he was happy. Just a month or so ago.

Default Taxi in San Juan

Travelling on Jewel of the Seas at end of October from San Juan. Flying in to San Juan from NYC. Does anyone know best way to get from / to cruise port from airport. Will be with a party of 6 on same flight. Any suggestions for a van to meet us at airport / cruise ship? How much are the taxis if we choose to go that route and is there any problem getting multiple taxis? Scheduled to arrive around 1:50 pm.

They'll have taxi vans out there both at the airport and at the pier - you won't have any problem and the price is the same - just have to add $1 per bag.

It's the cheapest and easiest way to make the trip in both directions - MUCH cheaper and easier than doing the cruise line transfers.

San Juan is definitely one slot you do not want to do the vacation line's exchange. there are a lot of cabs, so you don't have to search for any one or wait for them in order to be getting one. But i when i did went on a vacation i did a booking in advance with the car rental service provider and their service was just too much reliable and the ride was a budgeted family rental and it was really affordable.
