Major Carnival Cruise Line Disasters (from the Onion)

Oct. 10, 2000: Elation becomes the third Carnival cruise ship to be destroyed by a falling meteor
June 12, 2004: The Carnival Glory capsizes and sinks after everyone rushes port side to see a dolphin hopping in and out of the water

I love that last 'disaster' with the cruise space ship. Sounds like a good movie plot or TV show. "Sign up early for our exclusive spacewalk excursion in moon orbit. It sells out quickly!" "Book your Martian cabana on-line and enjoy your day in the sun and red sand!"
Oh Gosh...those poor soles back in 1975 going a whole 5 mins without eating. Surprised Fox or CNN didn't spend 2 days talking about it or interviewing when passengers returned to port.
Carnival Splendor (3 days of towing back to port)
Gotta watch those RSSC battle cruisers. They sneak up on you!
