Drink Cash vs. Drink tickets
Haven't been on for a while but going on a back to back in May on Fascination. I tried to buy drink tickets like we did as recently as January on Ecstasy. I see Bar Cash on the Carnival site where you have to pick the amount you think you will drink and it is non-refundable. When did they make the change? We used to be able to use unused tickets from one cruise to the next. Have I missed a major change in policy?
Thanks for your input>

Yes, a few months ago.

They have the beverage card now and basically it's use it or lose it.

If you have old tickets maybe they will honer them if you ask the right person. Bar manager or something might do it just to make you happy.

I felt like I got a little attitude from a couple of servers when I got used the little drink tickets last year. Don't know if they cause them more work or reduce their tips. Maybe they are valued at the bottom of the range.

I suppose with the bar cash program you don't have to worry about whether the beverage falls into the proper prince range. It could apply to a bucket of beers as easily as a bottle of wine.

Cruise cash card.
Thanks for the info. I am guessing the 15% gratuity is taken off the cash card unlike the tickets. I always find a good bartender and tip them $20 the first night. I love the difference it makes in service.
