Default Alaska cruise

Just booked an Alaska cruise for me and my 9 yr old grandson for next June on the Miracle. The ports are: Tracy Arm Ford, Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, Victoria BC. and we will be leaving out of Seattle. I would appreciate any tips and advice on what to see and do along with hotels to stay at the night before. Thanks!

We took this cruise on the Spirit, the Miracle's sister ship. Can't give advise about a hotel, we stayed three days at a bed and breakfast in Seattle. But if you would like to see what we did and get some ideas. here is a link to our slide show of the cruise. Enjoy your cruise!

Just the scenery will be worth the cruise. I would do something like a whale watching excursion and salmon bake in Juneau and/or Ketchikan. The Whit Pass Railroad train, in Skagway has beautiful scenery.

I would save up for one big excursion, such as: Flight seeing, helicopter tour where you land on the glacier or dog sledding. You will never regret it.

Enjoy your cruise and I know others will have some other ideas for your time in Alaska.

Take care,
Mike
