Default Carnival coupon books?

On my last trip I saw a few guest who had coupon books. I would love to get my hands on one of these. I haven't had much luck finding out any information about them though. When I asked my planner about them she simply replied that she didn't have any. Is there anyone out there who can help? Thanks!

I don't know what prompts the coupon book, maybe your status as far as cruise history is concerned. I'm pretty sure my name was printed on my coupons so I guess it's kind of a big deal. I had one on my last cruise (in April) and I only used the one for a half price drink (I think). I'll be Platinum with I sail in September so I'm kind of excited to see what goodies are in store for me.

Default Coupon Book

I don't know if what you are talking about is a Coupon book that we bought at one of the talks they had on the ship. It was about new the cruising or something. It had coupons for different things in the port and in different ports other than the ones we stopped at. We got lots of "free" stuff (worth "free") but the kids loved it and we got coupons for discounts at stores in port and things.
I believe everybody who has cruised more than once gets a coupon in their room for a complimentary drink in the "brunch". You might use it at dinner too, but not sure. We used ours at "Brunch".

Thanks guys. I know about the return free drink and about the coupons that are given at the shopping seminars. Congrats on going platinum! I've only achieved gold at the end of the trip I am about to go on. I've been cruising for a short period of time. The coupons that these ladies had didn't have their names and they said they bought them. It was hard to get any info out of them. Unfortunately, they were well seasoned cruisers who didn't have time for a novice like myself! I guess the search continues!

There is a shopping seminar usually day before of cruise, they will announce it. It is like a live info commerical. Last year the books cost $30.

The coupon book that you're talking about isn't from the seminars. The one I had was in my stateroom when I checked in. The coupons I had were very generous but to be honest, I only used the free drink coupon.
