Default San Juan overnight with shuttle to ship ?

I am looking for a hotel in San Jaun, P.R. that offers transport from airport and a shuttle to the cruise port. Please offer your recommendations.
Thank you.

Find out which pier your ship is docked at....last time I sailed Carnival from SJ, we were docked in Old San Juan..the Wyndham is right across the street.

Yes, I've stayed there, great place to pre-cruise, although they do not offer a free shuttle, you'll need to take a cab from the airport and another one to the port. I forget what hotel it is now, but it used to be the Wyndham....Even though, you ship may be right across the street, best to use a cab..

Is it now another chain? It used to be the Sheraton, then the Wyndham.

Kayak shows it as still a Sheraton. We docked across the street last weekend

It appears the Wyndham went back to it's Sheraton roots.....not sure I've seen that happen before....

I'm still in San Juan from my cruise that got back yesterday. The boat docks in Old San Juan, any cab will take you there as the port entrance is right on the street. No "ship yards" to enter as you would in FL or other states.

One thing that I didn't like was taxi's now charging $1 per bag. I'm a lot pissed about that and they can now count that dollar per bag as their tip. The nickel and dime-ing needs to come to an end.

Default San Juan Hotels

Thank you all for your answers. So it is the Sheraton, gotta take a cab, and they charge $1 a bag extra. I consider that a bargain considering what the airline is charging me for that bag.

You can walk from hotel to pier. No taxi needed except for airport to hotel.
