Default Lanyards

Does anyone know if Carnival gives these at check in? Do I need to bring my own?

You don't get them at check in....I have seen them given out in the casino, but not sure if you can always get one...I'd bring my own.

You do not get the cloth type at check in. If you want those you purchase in shop on ship. In casino you get a curly, stretchy type that you clip on your clothes or purse or whatever so you can put into machine and not forget.

Default Lanyards before boarding

In New Orleans, they have a vendor in the waiting area before you board that sells them. Also with the new picture offer they have going, you get a free one after you buy so many pictures.

We just bought a bunch for a large group of families at '5 Below' for $2 each. While the cruise line doesn't provide them for free, you can get them really cheap before you go. Then when you're doing your check-in at the pier, ask them to punch a hole in your sail-n-sign card, which they'll do, so you can use your lanyard.

But talk to your agent, they may have some to give you for free.
