Default Shopping for fire opal

We leave this week for another western Caribbean cruise. My wife is looking to pick up another piece for her fire opal collection. Several years ago we got a real nice quality pendent but can't remember where. All we remember is that it was a small 2 story indoor shopping complex that had huge cages with parrots in each corner. Anyone have a idea or maybe another spot that you got a fair deal on opals?

No Donna we don't. If I had to make a guess it was Grand Caymen or Belize, but that is only a guess. As you know after many many cruises everything just kind of looks the same. Either way we will have a good time looking, since this is half the fun.

We will be going on the Dream (3rd time) Always book the cloud 9 balcony on the spa deck. Only 24 steps to the desk and steam rooms, we have measured it. The food is just OK but the large thermal area makes up for it, and we do get our monies worth.

Sounds like Cozumel with the 2 story mall......Search online for the mall, and see if they list stores..one may sound familiar.

Also, don't discount buying onboard the ship..sometimes they have good deals in the jewelry shop...
