Question Info on ferry from Carnival dock to mainland

I am trying to find out if anyone can help with some information. We have to attend a wedding near Playa Del Carmen mid day on a Saturday. We see a cruise we can take that docks from 9am to 4pm at Cozumel the day of the wedding and need to know if anyone has any information or a contact to figure out how to get from the Carnival dock to Playa Del Carmen. I know there is a ferry but we need some reliable information to know if this is a possibility and make the arrangements.

Look here. Also note you have to be back on the cruise ship by 3:30pm if it is scheduled to leave at 4pm. So, looking at the ferry schedules, you'd have to take the 10am ferry and you'd arrive 15 minutes before the wedding - assuming it is near the pier in Playa del Carmen. Then you would need to take the 1pm ferry back to Cozumel.

If it were me, I'd just forget the cruise and book a resort vacation on the mainland and attend the wedding. The ferry option is too tight and rushed.

I would echo Dave. So many things could happen that could cause you to miss the wedding.
