Default South Carolina court dismisses Charleston lawsuit

South Carolina's Supreme Court has dismissed the lawsuit filed by citizens and some groups in Charleston against Carnival. The court said there was no evidence of any particular harm against any individual or group member and that the allegations were just general complaints about inconveniences.

It's not over yet. They're still going to have to go through the whole EIS process again. It will probably be years before they are able to jump through the final hoops.
