Default Gluten Free Pizza and Deli Bread

I thought I had read that Carnival now has gluten free pizza crust and gluten free bread in the Deli. Does anyone know if this is true? I have Celiac and gluten is NOT an option.

I know that on my last cruises on Glory and Inspiration, Carnival did a fantastic job, in the dining room, making sure that I had gluten free choices. The Assistant Maitre'd went over the next evenings menu with me, each night, and I put in my order and they even went as far as to have some dishes made gluten free for me. I had "gluten free" Chocolate Melting cake each night.

Let me know if the gluten free pizza and deli options are now available. I will be sailing on Liberty at the end of the month. These options were not available last year when I sailed on Glory, Inspiration and Breeze.

Take care,
Mike

I'd be interested to know that too. I agree, the dining room staff are wonderful about offering gluten free options, but being able to try a pizza would be nice!

  • Mike Mastellar Thanks John! Less than two weeks until we sail on Liberty. I have found that Carnival does a wonderful job of accommodating your gluten free guests. Far better than on Celebrity, or Royal Caribbean. The dining room staff have gone above and beyond to make sure I can enjoy as many of the offerings as possible. The only negative was not getting a sandwich in the Deli or Pizza, for a late night snack. I do appreciate Carnival's effort for people with Celiac.

Gee: I wonder who that guy is.

John Heald answered my question but it's nice for CM folks to know. I'll see if it's correct in a couple of weeks and if it's "edible".

Take care,
Mike

Your going on a Liberty....lucky guy. I just loved my Liberty cruise, not sure what it us about Liberty but she's awesome . Love Alchemey Bar ....my favorite spot for sure. I think there was something special about the passangers on that ship that made it so great.
