We have never had a problem taking a refillable water bottle off the ship. A few times when we reboarded, if the bottle was full, security asked to make sure it was water and not anything alcoholic. I can't say anything about a clothes steamer but I know they don't allow steam irons or for that fact any irons to be brought on board so I doubt that a steamer would be allowed. Have a great cruise!

As Thom stated, we have never had any problems with water bottles, either.

As for the steamer, according to their policies, they are not allowed. However, we bought a small folding travel one at Walmart that we have always taken with us and never had any problems. Just keep in mind that if they do find it, they'll confiscate it, so if you want to take one with you, don't make it an expensive one.
