Default Question for you on the differences between a couple ships....

Hello all I am new here and wanted to ask a couple questions,

I have been on a lot of Carnival cruises but mostly on the smaller ships and a few on the Legend when it was leaving out of Tampa. I am about to book a cruise for my fiancee and I and it will be her first time cruising and was looking at cruises on the Sunshine and Breeze and Magic and was curious what the differences were between the three ships and which you would recommend the most. And how much larger they are compared to the Legend Trying not to go too big for a first time cruise for my fiancee.

Congratulations! Your fiancÚ will love all three ships. The Magic and the Breeze are very much alike. They are two big ships and very much entertaining. He will love "Guys" burgers on the Breeze if he is a burger man. We have a group of 4 couples that cruise together, and all the men prefer the Breeze just for that reason. Bon Voyage!!

Sunshine is the revamped Destiny, it is a smaller but much older ship. I have not sailed her in the new configuration.

I did not know this.
My goodness, I have very fond memories of seeing this ship on overnights in Nassau, whilst I was on Royal.
Always nice seeing cruise ships do overnights in port.
Thats a while back. It must be really old now

I would choose the Breeze personality.
Big ship but not big like the Oasis class on Royal.
Bigger ship has better amenities in my opinion, the Breeze is a very nice ship....not too big , not too small.

I think it depends on what you like. If you care a lot about the Serenity Area, Pools, and Waterslides then Sunshine has a slight advantage. If you care about food, hot tubs, and deck parties then I'd have to give it to the Breeze.

I wouldn't worry about these ships being too big. On my second cruise I took 8 first-timers with me on the Breeze and they found their footing before lunch
